One of the most fascinating and yet frightening visual aspects of being in Italy? The mannequins are sometimes eerily accurate. Eyes that have colored irises and whites that you almost feel watching you as you pass.

I spent way too much of my time staring at these odd representations of idealized beauty. It always made me wonder, is this the sort of untouchable ideal we seek in beauty? What is you’re definition of human beauty?
