#WhyILovePhilly Summer Party

What an incredible night! Philadelphia is the best of towns and the people here are making sure it just. gets. better. Philly Love Notes, Drink Philly, and the Delaware River Waterfront did a seriously amazing job organizing and executing a park-meets-restaurant-meets-beer-garden-meets-boardwalk-meets-lifestyles-of-the-rich-and-famous: The Spruce Street Harbor Park.

Music, food, friends, and fun – what more could you want from a Summer Party? I’m sad I didn’t bring my real camera, but I wanted to experience this event, not photograph it so these shots are just what I took on my phone with vscocam.

So many great groups representing Philly were there. First off, I have to give a shout out to my friend and amazing entrepreneur, creator and founder of Hooley Coloring, Alli Blum. Hooley is coloring for grown-ups and they teamed up with Philly Love Notes and had special post-cards at the event where you could color and then write your love note! Super fun. Be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming events with Hooley.

The vendor booths were fantastic as well – special mention to Philadelphia Independents boutique. Next, Visit Philly was screen printing beautiful tote bags fo’ free! Ron Gallow debuted his solo album and the opener The Lawsuits kept us rockin’ and ready.

Do yourself a favor and make a date to get down to the Harbor STAT.
