When I was taking my friend around Philadelphia, and eventually to the Philadelphia Magic Gardens, I had no clue they had the artist there for a question and answer session. He let people come and go in his studio while he answered question after question and never seemed to tire.

It was an incredible experience to hear him talk about how he started the PMG and who inspires his artwork. Zagar talked about going to Mexico and working with another artist who turned his drawings into straw paintings.
