Good Day Dog – How it Works

Good Day Dog was a project where I did brand photography and video design and development. Good Day Dog is a dog collar company that specializes in “cute dog collars for equally cute dogs and their loving owners. As a monthly subscription service, GDD let’s you have fun with one of the basic necessities of having a dog.”

What

The client wanted a video that explained the Good Day Dog process and practices while also deepening the audience’s experience with the brand. She was looking for a cute, fresh, hand-crafted feel that could translate through video. We decided that stop motion would be the best way communicate those aspects in an energetic and fast-paced way.

How

This video had several components. We started out with a photoshoot involving the dogs, these images are also featured on the website. After that photoshoot, I did a stop motion shoot in-studio, with lighting and backdrop. After processing the images I was able to start forming the video with the music we chose.
