Kimberly in Brooklyn

During the summer, Kimberly came to visit me in NYC! We had such a great time exploring the city, we attended Sleep No More and walked the high line. Both of those were incredible ways to spend the day in Manhattan and if you haven’t done so, I highly recommend going.

We also spent a day exploring parts of Brooklyn, as you’ll see in the photos below. We started to head to the Brooklyn Brewery, but the line was so long, we ended up just exploring and photographing before grabbing lunch and heading back.

The street art in Brooklyn is one aspect that keeps grabbing your attention, whether amateur or professional, the art is always thought provoking or a complement to the area surrounding it. One of my favorite shots were our glimpses at the paper prints from the Women’s March. A very timely find since Kimberly, Abbe, and I all attended The Women’s March back in Washington.

Finally, we ended our photographic explorations in Dumbo and took several photos of the area focusing on the beautiful water front views. Here’s to more exploring this year and most of all more reunions!
