We’ve all been there. You’re out with your friends, maybe you’re dancing, maybe you just want to get in a circle around your pocket books – whatever it is. There’s a feeling you get. Like you look amazing. And it’s fleeting – you know that well – so you throw your friend the camera and expect them to Annie Liebovitz you. So sure of your success. You leave with dreams of making that one shot your defining image.
Much later, when the glitter has scattered, you take a look. Instead of the defining image you find more of a Van Gogh than what you thought it would be. You have a moment of disappointment, then you realize you like this picture for it’s errors.
And magically you have a profile picture that’s different. Or at least a GPOYW.
