Draw Something Everyday: December 2015

If you’ve visited this blog recently or follow me on social media you’re probably aware that I’ve just shared my recent logo design for Kristina Friedgen, acting coach, director/choreographer and educator. And since it’s time to share the Draw Something Everyday selects from December I thought I’d share several of the sketches that didn’t make it into the case study.

While writing the case study for this logo design I went through several of my sketches to select which ones to share in the process description. There were so many that didn’t make it that I decided to share with you some of my favorite sketched concepts of mask icons, character shoes, and other ideas.

In addition to the several sketches I made for my work on KristinaFriedgen.com, I also took time to draw just for myself. One final drawing from this year I’ll share is of my bicycle. Since winter hit, I’ve been keeping my bike in the entrance of my apartment and I end up staring at it sometimes while I sit on my couch and draw.

My bike and I went through a lot this past year from getting me to explore my city, to training for the Bike MS century ride, to taking me to November Project in the wee hours of the morning. As I drew this doodle and reminisced on all we’d done this year, I couldn’t help but get excited for all that we’ll do together in 2016.
